For Enerin CEO, Arne Høeg, the IEA Heat Pump Conference is one of the energy calendar's unmissable events, and the 15th edition in Vienna didn't disappoint. Høeg presented peer-reviewed operational data from three industrial HoegTemp™ installations across the biogas, chemicals and seafood sectors. The data, collected at 15,000 operating hours, demonstrated steam generation up to 200°C under real industrial conditions since November 2023.

As Europe pushes to strengthen energy resilience and reduce industrial dependence on fossil fuels amid rising geopolitical uncertainty in natural gas and oil markets, electrification of industrial process heat is moving to the centre of attention. Replacing gas-fired steam boilers with industrial heat pumps is now a reliable substitute to fossil fuels.
