Enerin CEO pitches at global energy bootcamp

Enerin CEO, Arne Høeg, travelled to Sydney in May 2025 to attend the Free Electrons bootcamp — a four-day networking event bringing together 30 handpicked start-ups and SMEs with major global utilities, including CLP, EDP, E.ON, ESB, Hydro-Québec, JERA, and Origin Energy.

Enerin was selected from nearly 900 applicants to join the programme, designed to foster collaboration and accelerate innovation in the energy sector.

During the event, Arne presented Enerin’s approach to integrating industrial heat pumps with renewable energy and thermal storage — a solution aimed at achieving cost parity with gas while outperforming electric boilers on efficiency.

With over two decades of experience, Arne is a recognised pioneer in industrial heat pumps. He holds 10 patents and designs in the market, including industrial heat pumps, water turbines, subsea drones, machine vision systems for precision agriculture, medical equipment and consumer products.
